Remedial Techniques
Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger point therapy is a soft tissue technique that works to release pain and tension in areas of hyper irritability within the muscle and fascia, otherwise known as knots. By applying pressure to these specific sites, pain and tension can be reduced, as well as increasing blood flow and range of motion to nearby joints.

Deep Tissue Massage
This treatment is generally firmer, it targets and re-aligns the deeper tissue structures and often more long term chronic problems of the soft tissue, such as static and postural muscles. It is often used to break up scar tissue and break down muscle adhesions, known as knots. Clients experience longer lasting relief from the pain and discomfort associated with chronic, tight and imbalanced muscles.
Swedish Massage
This technique consists of a series of long, gliding or circular massage strokes known as Effleurage, Petrissage, Frictions, and Tapotement. It is generally a lighter style of massage known for promoting relaxation, reducing stress and anxiety, reducing muscular tension, promoting blood circulation, and improving mental state of mind. It takes into account the whole person and helps activate each clients natural healing processes as well as restoring their physical and emotional well-being.
